Introduction
Realizing the growing need for a MICE venue in Thailand,
IMPACT Arena, convention and
Exhibition
center was purposely designed and constructed with the
state-of-the-art facilities that would cater to all the
possible needs and requirements of clients and patrons.
Opening in 1998, its completion was just in time for the
ASIAN Games. Since then, accommodating the ever-growing
demands of the market, IMPACT has undertaken expansion
projects to provide more exhibition and convention space.
History
It all began when
Bangkok Land Company Limited (PCL) constructed the
multi-purpose complex, Muang Thong Thani Stadium, as one of
the three official sport stadiums to support the 13th Asian
Games, held in D ecember 1998.
With
its perfectly built facility, its large parking space and
its easy transportation access, Muang Thong Thani Stadium
gradually gained popularity and reputation. With 2000 sq.m.
of area and multi-purpose design, plus a 12,000 seating
Arena, the venue served all public needs and since then
gained popularity as the perfect venue for exhibitions and
events.
Later in 1999, Muang Thong Thani Stadium was given a new
name- ‘IMPACT Exhibition Center' to reiterate its perception
and focus as the perfect venue for exhibitions and events.
In the mean time the Bangkok Land Group also formed a
subsidiary, IMPACT Exhibition Management Company Limited, to
manage the pre-existing IMPACT Exhibition Center.
IMPACT
Exhibition Center hosted its first ever event in August
1999. The event named Thailand's Brand ‘99 was organized by
the Department of Export Promotion (DEP), Ministry of
Commerce.

been chosen a to host events and exhibitions conducted by

With growing event and fair demands, the company decided to
build an additional building in the year 2000 namely the
IMPACT Convention Center. This 30,000-square meter features
two exhibition halls, a grand ballroom and 12 meeting rooms,
covering about 7,200 square meters.
The additional building enabled the company to make further
commitment to the pubic as the perfect ‘all purpose' venue.
Its opening event was Bangkok Gems 2000, organized by Thai
Gems & Jewelry Association. Since then, IMPACT has gained
popularity among various respectable Thai and international
organizers. Later on, the center was renamed as IMPACT
Exhibition and Convention Center to reflect its objectives.
Facility
IMPACT Exhibition
and Convention Center provides more than 100,000 usable
spaces, 15,000-car-park along with a number of public
utilities and facilities. The facilities allow IMPACT to
gain recognition as the perfect venue for all kinds of
events ranging from domestic and international seminars,
product exhibitions, sport tournaments, to stage shows and
banqueting events.
At present, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani coAt present, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani coAt present, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani comprises of three main
buildings.
IMPACT Arenars multi-purpose building with a
capacity of up to 12,000 seats. It proves to be an excellent
venue for events that require large usable spaces such as
product exhibitions, trade shows or conventions.
IMPACT Exhibition Center
Claimed as Asia's only international standard
exhibition hall with a total space of 60,000 square meters,
the center consists of 8 halls. The Halls 1-4 provide column
free design with 20,000 square meters of usable space. While
Halls 5-8, completed in late 2003, provide additional space
of 30,000 square meters, plus 6 Phoenix meeting rooms (up to
185 - 193 Sq. Meters/ room).
IMPACT Convention Center
Well built with stylish interiors featuring
contemporary Thai ambience, the center consists of:

Hall 9 with 15,000 square meters of usable space - suitable
for seminars and product exhibitions with large convention
requirements.

Hall 10
with 15,500 square meters of usable space - suitable for
seminars, consumer displays and light product show.

Grand
Diamond Ballroom, a 2,000-square meter facility with
capacity of up to 2,000 seating.

Concourse
with 2,000 square meters of usable space - suitable for all
type of banquet and catering, including products display.

Meeting
Room 1-6, a 500-square meter meeting space with capacity of
500 seating each.

Meeting Room 7-12, a 170-square
meter meeting space with capacity of 170 seating each.
Executive Management IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center
is managed and operated by an expert executive team. They
are always willing to assist customers conduct all kinds of
events including exhibitions, shows, seminars and fairs.
The team consists of professionally trained executives that
have been involved in the MICE industry for decades.
Administrative Department:
They work as the center for cooperation between each
department and the executive team, control stationary
requirement; also, look after the front desk management.
Human Resources Department:
Give overall-view for all IMPACT employees, recruit people
to fit their talent and control the number of employees to
suit the given budget.
Sales Department:
Responsible for providing information and
service in space reservations. Our sales team is ready to
offer you the best advice on area bookings, organizing
events, exhibitions, fairs, meetings, seminars, banquets,
and concerts.
Event Department:
Responsible for preparing all facilities and
related matters to meet customers' demands and help them
achieve their highest satisfaction goal.
Facility Operation Department:
Consists of
engineers, architects and related technicians, responsible
for ensuring that all systems including air-conditioners,
water, electricity, telephone and security are well in
order.
Purchasing Department:
Responsible for purchasing the objects in demand for all
departments. Also check the best price and quality of all
products to get the best.
Finance & Accounting Department:
Control the
overall financial system, including cost, employees' wage
system and financial welfare of the company.
Project Department:
Offering services with regard to organizing exhibitions,
fairs, meetings, and seminar both domestic and
international.
Special Project Department: is the
cooperation between the company and
other valued government organizations.
Food and Beverage Department:ttom:0" class="content">
Responsible for banqueting event,
catering food and beverage, banquet accessories, arranging
decoration and prepare the necessary banqueting facilities.
Housekeeping Department:
Ensuring that hygiene and cleanliness prevails in the
premises at all times.
Communications and Public Relations Department:
Oversees public relations and
