“ Excellent Hotel ” |
| We have just returned from a wonderful holiday at the Centara in Krabi. The hotel is pristine, the rooms and views are fabulous and the staff superb. The location is perfect for those looking for peace and quiet, private beach and being pampered. A free shuttle boat runs every two hours to the next bay, Au Nang, where there are bars, shops resturants etc. Be warned you have to step off and on the boat in knee deep water at Au Nang, so careful with the choice of outfit! It is possbile to walk over a steep hill but the steps are quite rickety, not to be attempted after too much alcohol! (No road access to the reosrt) The reosrt would be difficult for anyone with walking/mobility difficulties as the boat transfers and the stepness of the paths to the majority of the accomodation would be challenging. However golf buggies are always at hand to give you a lift around the resort. Breakfast excellent, food at the resort very good and varied but signifanctly more expensive than in Au Nang. Sailing, kayaking and wind surfing are all free and trips to other islands etc plentiful. The beach is not crowded (or even busy as it is only used by hotel guests with security gaurds in the background) and there were more than enough sun beds, the pools are wonderfully landscaped and there was a choice of three pool areas. The beach and swimming are great with gently sloping, sandy bottom in a very warm sea. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel, including to those with children as the staff are very children friendly. A fabulous place. |

“ Amazing place ” |
| The JW Marriott is simply amazing! From the expansive pool area to the beautifully serene beach and open-air lobby, be prepared to be awestruck by its beauty. The rooms are spacious and well-decorated, and the restaurants are excellent although extremely pricy for Thailand. One drawback is that the location is somewhat remote (located on a secluded beach and Patong Beach is about 45km away), but the hotel offers shuttle service and once you get to the JW Marriott Phuket, you may not want to go anywhere else! |

“ Wonderful ” |
| This is the best marriott I have been to and I have been to many. It is on a secluded beach away from the seediness of patong beach. We ended up staying longer because we enjoyed it so much. The standard room is amazing with relaxation area, spa tub etc. I loved all the service extras such as staff greeting us on check with refreshing beverages and leaving different fresh fruit in our room everyday. Yes for Thailand it is on the more expensive side but you wouldn't get anything close to this luxury for the same price in the states, for example. I felt like a princess - I absolutely recommend this property. |

“ Had a very good stay at the hotel ” |
| Had a very good stay at the hotel but it was very noisy due to the air conditioning being located outside our room. Also, we did not have a power point in our room so I was unable to use hairdryer etc. The write up about the hotel did say there was a hairdryer in the room but was not so with our room. Bathroom looked a little "tired" and in need of a bit of t.l.c. Staff etc and service were great. |

| I got the pool view room in Sugar Palm, it was very nice.The room that i got on the 3rd floor, it is the pink color. I ask the reception, she showed the bottle next to her about each floor had different color. I & my husband will go to stay in anothet color next year. |

“ Fantastic Phuket Holiday ” |
| Tropical Garden Resort was fab, rooms very nice, colourful modern decor Thai style. All mod-cons there like TV, fridge. Our room was on the ground floor, so we could walk straight from the room to the poolside. The pool was superb, fantastic views on mountains, birds singing, cricket sounds etc. |

| Ideally located, many restaurants close by offering Thai, Indian, German, French, Italian food. Easy walking distance to night life areas. Hotel was excellent. Rooms were large , clean and well kept. I found it to be a great value hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast was first class. |

| A shrine, water fountain & fish pond welcome guests to the hotel. The grand staircase in the lobby has a European flavour. The conventional Thai influenced suites have a business center. Meeting rooms hold up to 1,500. There’s a high-tech gym, pool with underwater music, aerobics classes, Jacuzzi under the stars & lots more amenities. |

“ Will surely consider staying here again ” |
| Stayed at the Windsor suites twice already (this review being written after the second time) and it was great. The price you pay is very fair, the room is of good size and well furnished.
Everything you need is pretty much within approximately ten minutes of walk from the hotel.
There is an excellent German restaurant right across the street from the hotel (restaurants in the hotel are, actually, good also).
The swimming pool is on the 14th floor; it pretty nice from my experience.
There is also a "disco place" in the hotel that stays open later than most bars, so if you need a late night beer - this is the perfect place.
Staff is nice and friendly. |

| It is a good deal, with a 48-square-meter suite costing around the same price as a room in most of Bangkok's comparable hotels. All suites are well decorated with teakwood furniture and are equipped with two televisions and individually controlled air-conditioning. Many fine shops, restaurants and bars are within easy walking distance. |

| Spent here a week and left very satisfied. The staff and service is second to none. There are only 32 suites, we stayed in a Garden Court View Room which was lovely. Beach front location is excellent, you're far away enough to avoid the hustle and bustle but also close enough if you want some action. The beach guys are awesome, couldn't do enough. Highly recommended! |

| All though we have stayed in a variety of nice hotels and resorts around the world, we have never been so completely satisfied after having stayed for two weeks at this hotel. The surroundings, the room, the food - everything was great! But most of all we have never ever met such nice and professional hotel staff. We warmly recommend anyone interested to stay here and enjoy such a friendly atmosphere. |

“ Beautiful location, glad we didn't stay in Patong ” |
| There are shops and restaurants right outside the resort and a minimart next door. The breakfast each morning was wonderful and always with plenty of variety. If you feel like laying in they will deliver your breakfast to your room for a small surcharge. We ate at the 'On The Beach' restaurant twice and the food was great. The pool bar had plenty to choose from and we used it most days. The massage hut was excellent and the oil massage as well as the foot massage and foot cleaning are well worthwhile and not expensive. The staff are absolutely wonderful, everything is done with a smile and nothing is too much trouble. They are really what makes this resort so special (apart from the location). The rooms are tastefully decorated with enough room so you don't feel cramped. |

“ You may love it or you may hate it ” |
| Here is the thing about this resort. If you want to stay somewhere distant from Patong, all the nightlife, shopping and bars, than this is your kind of place. On the other hand, if you do like to go out into the city, or go shopping early, which obviously means leaving hotel ground, than you may find this hotel inconvenient for these purposes. It is around 20 minutes drive by taxi from Patong, which may be great for those seeking solitude, as well as terrible for others who want to stay close to | | | |
