Although
recently rebuilt, the 30 year-old Krungthep Kreetha is one
of Bangkok's older courses. On first glance it resembles a
rather grand Victorian English park due to its attractive
layout and the abundance of majestic trees that scatter the
fairways. Behind many of the trees lurks another
danger -- water hazards, which lie around the course like
craters on the moon's surface. These hazards call for
accurate tee shots otherwise one will never make many of the
elevated greens which are among Thailand's truest. A
new clubhouse serving excellent food has recently been built
to course. |
